Price Note: As of April 1st, 2025, Nissan USA has issued a drastic price increase on these sending units. Since then, we have run out of our old stock at the previous cost, and have had to adjust our price accordingly. We are currently looking into alternative options, and hope to have an update soon. For those that need an immediate replacement, we will continue to offer these as a Special Order (see note below).
Includes:
Special Order:
When Nissan makes large price increases such as on this sending unit, they are often selling the last few that will ever be available. So if you must have a new original sending unit, don't hesitate. These will be sold as Special Order items, must be prepaid, and ARE NOT eligible for cancellation or return. Call us if you have any questions.
Descriptions:
A bad fuel tank sending unit is the most common cause of a fuel gauge not reading correctly. Over time, the electrical contacts corrode, the float deteriorates, and sometimes the unit itself can even start leaking fuel. The only way to correct these issues is to replace the sending unit. This genuine, original equipment (OEM) sender is a direct replacement for the original unit. You will need to replace the sending unit o-ring at the same time to ensure a proper seal, and, you should inspect the lock ring for damage as well (see Related Items).
Installation Note:
As shown in the picture above, this sending unit installs with the post with the black grommet up.
