Availability:
The currently available Lash Pad sizes are shown as selections you can make below (.165", .180", .195", .205"), which should cover most L6 camshaft setups. If you are not able to machine your valve train to utilize these Lash Pad sizes, the following Lash Pad sizes are not readily available, but if you contact us we will try to special order them for you: .150", .160", .170", .180", .190", .200", .210", .220", .230", .240", .250", .260", .270", .280", .290", .300", .310", .320", .330", .340". Description:
The proper size (thickness) lash pads must be used in order to maintain proper valve geometry. See note below for determining the size you need. Includes 12 new lash pads.

Selecting Size:
Here are basic guidelines for what size of lash pads will be proper for our particular camshafts: For our 10-2001 & 10-2002 camshafts, you will generally* need the .165" pads (.160" to .170"). For our 10-2003 & 10-2004 camshafts, you will generally* need the .180" pads (.170" to .180"). For our 10-2005 & 10-2006 camshafts, you will generally* need the .195" pads (.190" to .200"). The exact size you need for each valve depends exactly on how the valve job is being done, along with the machining and condition of your valvetrain components (the valves and rocker arms in particular). When your camshaft is assembled in the head, the mandatory testing performed by your mechanic or engine builder will determine whether the chosen lash pad is proper, or if any will need to be exchanged for another size. If you do need any lash pads exchanged, just give us a call. The larger sizes are generally for custom racing engines and applications.

*Sizing Update:
Famed engine builder Rebello Racing, along with Schneider and the other cam manufacturers, worked together to have intermediate size pads added (.165", .180", .195", .205"), which covers the very common area between the original Nissan Competition pads. These in between sizes end up covering a wider range of uses than the originals did. For example, medium to large lift camshafts often times require a lash pad between .170" & .180". Ask your machinist about the size you should start with.

Application Note: Aftermarket spring retainers are required for any lash pads over .160" thickness. See Related Items for our performance spring and retainer kit.
