Description:
This is the genuine, original equipment (OEM) front center hub bearing center "cap" for all early Z's. It fits into the outer face of the hub to keep dirt and debris out of the wheel bearings. Includes rubber O-Ring. Sold individually; one required per side (2 per car).

*240Z Note:
This part replaces catalog #23-4515 for 70-73 240Z. Nissan discontinued the original 240Z cap some time ago. The only difference between the early and later caps is the color (240Z caps were a dark greyish green color) and that the original 240Z bearing cap did NOT have an o-ring. These caps will fit directly on your original 240Z front hubs.

Plating Note:
As with many of the OEM hardware, fittings, caps, and other plated components, Nissan no longer uses the original plating that gave these bearing caps their "yellow zinc" appearance. Nissan has used several different types of plating on metal components over the years, and it is not uncommon to receive pieces with different appearances (especially when ordering in quantity). The current plating used on these genuine Nissan bearing caps gives them a more silver appearance as shown in the images.
