Description:
One of the most popular for a late 260Z or 280Z where the stock bumper is retained, this fiberglass front air dam/spoiler features the smooth, non-ducted look.

Protective Coating:
This fiberglass item has a gel coating to protect the fiberglass itself from scratches. It is not a finish coat. Your paint professional will sand down the coating prior to final priming and painting. You will notice scratching in this surface, which is exactly what it was designed to do, to take any scratching that can occur in production, transport, storage, handling, and shipping, keeping the fiberglass from being damaged. Please let us know if you have any questions.

The orange 280Z shown on this page was equipped with a prototype Carbon Fiber version of this air dam, which was never brought into production. The air dam you will receive when ordering this part number will be made from fiberglass.

Model Restriction:
*Fits "late" 1974 260Z models produced from 9/74 through 11/74 and all 1974 2+2 models. If you have a 9/73 to 8/74, then you have the "early" 260Z and will need part 50-1401 (see Related Items).
