Turbo Intercoolers

The purpose of an intercooler is to reduce the tendency of a turbocharged engine to detonate by lowering the temperature of the intake charge. Despite popular misconceptions, an intercooler by itself does not increase horsepower. By reducing detonation, it allows you to run more boost. Increased boost is effected by a unit such as our Dial-A-Boost or the Electronic Boost Control. The two modifications should be done together. Our high quality intercooler kit uses a very efficient air-to-air core, and includes all the hoses, instructions and necessary hardware.

Note: At this time we have no intercoolers for the 81-96 ZX. We are looking into making affordable, quality kits of our own in the future.
