Description:
Crankshaft pulleys, also known as harmonic balancers and crank dampeners, protect engines by absorbing damaging vibration that occurs when the engine is running. V6 engines produce less vibration from running than their L-Series predecessors, but the job of the crank pulley is still important regardless. The rubber portion of a crank damper is prone to wear, which can lead to increased engine vibration and movement in minor cases and reduced accessory function or engine damage in extreme cases. This is the genuine, original equipment (OEM) replacement pulley. Don't forget to inspect your belts and other pulleys when inspecting your dampener!
