Description:
This downstream Oxygen Sensor, located in each catalytic converter, gives the ECU a secondary measurement of how much oxygen is left in the exhaust after it has passed through the cats. It then sends a signal to the computer, which uses that input (along with several other signals from various components) to make adjustments to the fuel flow into your engine. A bad O2 sensor can cause several issues, ranging from reduced fuel economy to a failed catalytic converter. Failed O2 sensors are one of the most common causes of failed emissions tests. Nissan added the rear sensors in order to bring the Z32 up to OBD-II standards. Sold individually; 2 required per car.
