Description:
Fuel filters provide a vital function in protecting your engine. Over time, contaminants such as paint chips and rust can build up inside your fuel tank. The fuel filter catches these contaminants, keeping them out of the sensitive internals of your engine. Fuel pressure can decrease as the filter fills with these contaminants, which is why they should be inspected (and changed if needed) at regular intervals. This filter is made following the OE design, so there is no need for aftermarket brackets. Sold individually, 1 required per car.

Note:
73-74 models came with an electric fuel pump to help solve vapor locking issues. This pump has a filter inside of it that should be changed at the same time as this filter.
