Description:
The master cylinder sends brake fluid to both the front and rear brakes. Some signs of a bad master cylinder are easy to spot, such as leaks around the cylinder or reservoirs. Other signs, such as a very soft brake pedal or a pedal that sinks to or stays down on the floor, can indicate problems from just about all of the brake hydraulic system. Some signs are more difficult to notice, such as a spongy pedal that won't go away after proper bleeding or contaminated brake fluid. Regular brake fluid changes and occasional inspections of the cylinder are both good ways to spot problems with the cylinder.

Cap Note:
The caps that are included with this aftermarket master cylinder are not the factory caps. You will need to switch them out for factory Tokico caps (24-5092) if you are looking for a factory look or planning to use our Billet Cap Cover kit (10-9000).
