Description:
This hardware kit covers all of the important springs and retainers that allow your rear drum brakes to operate properly. With worn or weak hardware, your brakes can lose effectiveness or even fail. The Return Springs pull the Brake Shoes away from the drum when the Wheel Cylinder is not applying pressure. The Anti-Rattle Springs hold the shoes steady inside of the assembly and are secured with retainers and pins. One kit covers both sides.

Note:
This replacement kit differs slightly from our Factory OEM kit, by using the same retainer type for both sides of the anti-rattle springs. According to our tech team, this is not a problem and will work fine. If you would prefer a kit that matches original, see our OEM kit 24-5381 in Related Items below. There will also be extra hardware (not shown) that is not used on your Z.
