Part #:30-2344
Price: $59.87
Includes:
Description:
A worn out Door Striker can prevent your door from closing. Wear to the striker can cause the latch on the mechanism to not fold down, which in turn causes the door to simply bounce off the body of your car (although this can also be caused by a bad mechanism). Genuine, original equipment (OEM) replacement.
Plating Note:
As with many of the OEM hardware, fittings, caps, and other plated components, Nissan no longer uses the original plating that gave these Door Strikers their "yellow zinc" appearance. Nissan has used several different types of plating on metal components over the years, and it is not uncommon to receive pieces with different appearances (especially when ordering in quantity). The current plating used on these genuine Nissan Strikers gives them a more silver appearance.
Comparison Image:
The comparison image on this page shows both the old and current plating types for reference. As noted above, Nissan has discontinued the older plating type. Aside from the plating, there is no physical difference between the older and current studs, as seen in the comparison.
