Description:
A damaged or aged center console can take a lot away from your interior. Fortunately, we were able to get the 70-71 version reproduced in fiberglass after Nissan discontinued the original 240Z center consoles. This console is designed to fit just like the factory original using the same factory hardware.

*Application Note:
Models produced in late 1970 and early 1971 came with one of 2 types of center consoles. Nissan was not consistent during this period of Z-Car production, and cars produced even in the same week often times came in different configurations. This console fits 240Z models where the Ash Tray is positioned in front of the shift boot, covering the fuse box. If your Z has the ash tray positioned behind the shift boot, see 40-2403-1 in Related Items.

Image Note:
The picture above shows a finished console that has been painted. This console does not come painted at this time; however, it does have a texture similar to the original console. Unlike most fiberglass parts, we do not recommend sanding this console as part of the painting prep-work, since that will remove the texture. Instead, we recommend an alcohol based prep followed by an adhesion promoter prior to painting to ensure a long-lasting finish.
