Description:
FireBall E-Core ignition coils are one of the best coil options on the market for performance ignition systems. The LX-91 series coil produces up to 100% more spark energy than original ignition coils while reducing leakage inductance and improving energy transfer to the distributor. This means more energy reaches the spark plugs and more complete combustion in the cylinder. The solid epoxy encapsulated design resists shock and vibration while the heavy gauge wire used in the internal windings creates lower resistance and provides better heat dissipation than conventional coils. LX-91 coils are designed for use with performance Capacitive Discharge (CD) type ignitions, such as the Crane HI-6; however, they also work well with some Inductive ignitions like the XR-3000. Dimensions: 3.75" x 2.5" x 3". Weight: 1.25lbs. Limited one year warranty.
Note:
This coil is not intended for use in race or extended high RPM applications using high output ignitions. See the PS-92 coil in Related Items below. Not for use with points. Can be used on 240Z's where the points have been replaced with our XR-700 or XR-3000 ignition system.
