Description:
This reproduction of the OEM factory decal is located on the driver's (left) side of the dashboard, next to the hazard switch. It fits in the "cross" indentation below the right side of the steering wheel, to the left of the switch. Note that this version of the decal was used with all replacement dashboards sold by Nissan that featured the "cross" indentation (see Year Note below).
*Year Note:
Many 240Z's have had the dashboard replaced at some point, and many of those dashboards were the 1972 version even when purchased from Nissan directly. Nissan superceded all 1970 and 1971 dashboards to the 1972 version sometime in the late 1990's. Additionally, some 1973 models were shipped with the earlier 1972 dashboard (these typically had the lever style hazard switch when this was the case, but not always). If your 1970-1973 240Z has the "cross" indentation and a lever style switch, this is the decal designed for the indentation. Please call if you have any questions.
Note:
Beware of scanned copies of these early Z decals on some internet sites. The reproduction decals we offer are either the actual reproductions commissioned by Nissan for the Restoration Project (most 240Z decals), made by the same supplier that Nissan commissioned, or made by specialist suppliers (typically in Japan). We will only offer the best available option when it comes to these decals, not cheap or low quality copies!
