Description:
The Receiver/Dryer receives some liquid refrigerant from the condenser before it is passed on to the expansion valve. Most Receiver/Dryers also have an internal filter screen. It also acts as temporary storage for oil and refrigerant when the full system volume isn't needed, such as times when cooling demand is low. This is often a mandatory replacement when your Air Conditioning system is repaired in order to protect the system properly. Genuine, original equipment (OEM) units are the best option. Ask your technician. Also replaces #16-7542.
