(1) Differential Breather

Description:
This genuine, original equipment (OEM) small, white, plastic breather fits on the top of the differential cover. It allows the differential to vent air to prevent a pressure/vacuum buildup while keeping water and debris out. Pressure buildup can cause oil to leak from the diff seals, while vacuum can cause water and debris to be pulled past the seals (mainly the rear seal). Additionally, a buildup of either pressure or vacuum can cause damage to the internal components of the differential as well as the seals. Fits both R-180 and R-200 differentials.
