This genuine, original equipment (OEM) tapered plug is fitted in the pressurized oil passages at the front of the engine block (and the rear on VG30 engines). Removing the plugs allows the oil passages of the block to be flushed during engine rebuilds. In most cases, the old plugs cannot be reused and should be replaced with these new pieces. Sold individually.
