Description:
The oil dipstick is a simple yet critical part of proper engine care and maintenance. It's purpose is to allow for the oil level to be checked, both during and between oil changes. Over time, the cover over the handle of the dipstick can become brittle fall apart, making it difficult to remove when needed. Additionally, the rubber seal also tends to dry out over time, leading to an air leak within the PCV system. This is the genuine, original equipment (OEM) oil dipstick for checking the level of the engine oil.

Note:
This replacement dipstick was originally used on the 280ZX but fits earlier model Z's too. Replaces part number 17-8047. See Related Items for the dipstick tube, sold separately.
