This genuine, original equipment (OEM) o-ring was designed to prevent moisture from reaching the tapered shaft of the ball joint where it passes through the steering knuckle. It installs in between the steering knuckle/ball joint and the bottom of the front strut assembly. One required per side, two required per vehicle.
Note:
When installing our Bump Steer Spacer Kit, this o-ring installs between the steering knuckle and the bump steer spacer (not between the spacer and the strut assembly).
