Description:
The Oxygen Sensor, located in the rear elbow on the turbocharger, works by detecting how much oxygen is in your exhaust. It then sends a signal to the computer, which uses that input (along with several other signals from various components) to make adjustments to the fuel flow into your engine. A bad O2 sensor can cause several issues, ranging from reduced fuel economy to a failed catalytic converter. Faulty O2 sensors are one of the most common causes of failed emissions tests. This is the genuine, original equipment (OEM) oxygen sensor. Sold individually; one required per car. Fits 88-89 turbo models only; see Related Items for other years.
