Description:
This genuine, original equipment (OEM) seal that fits into the rear of manual transmissions and seals the driveshaft to the transmission. Includes both the dust cover and rubber transmission seal as a single piece.
Supercession Note:
The original version of this seal, which included both the rubber seal and the metal dust cover, has been discontinued by Nissan. We extensively test fit the later non-turbo seal many years ago, and also consulted with Nissan service technicians, and confirmed that it is a suitable replacement for the earlier non-turbo model manual transmissions. The later seal does not include the metal "cover" originally found on the earlier 300ZX non-turbo version, but otherwise fits and seals correctly. See 20-1515 in Related Items.

For models currently equipped with an early factory non-turbo model manual transmission (84-2/85 71C). Will not fit on models currently equipped with a late non-turbo model trans. (3/85-89 71C), any turbo trans. (90A; 30A), or an automatic transmission.
