Description:
This genuine, original equipemnt (OEM) RTV Silicone Liquid Gasket Maker is used widely on Z-Cars starting with the 300ZX models with the W-Series engine block. It is commonly used around the cooling system parts where a gasket is not used, as well as the oil pan on the same model. For 90-96 models, it is also used throughout the cooling system and parts of the lubrication system, including the oil pan and the outer valve covers. Starting with the 350Z, this sealant is used all throughout the power train on various components, from the engine all the way to the differential.
*Note:
The introduction of the W-Series block in 1987 was done over a series of months. February of 1987 is the official date of the change, but some earlier production months sometimes have these and some later months will have the earlier series blocks. We recommend checking both the serial number and casting number of the block if you aren't sure which you have.
