Factory Speed Sensor, 90-96 300ZX Turbo w/ Auto Trans.

Description:
This genuine, original equipment (OEM) sensor mounts to the side of the transmission to read how fast your Z is going and sends the appropriate signal to the speedometer. If your speedo is showing an incorrect reading or no reading at all, chances are that either the Speed Sensor has gone bad or the pinion gear has been damaged. Fits Turbo models equipped with automatic transmission.

Note:
If you are planning to change your differential (such as to a non-turbo model diff), you will need to change both the sensor and the gear to match in order to get an accurate reading. The sensors and gears do not directly interchange.
