Ball joints are basically socket style joints that fit between the front control arms and the steering knuckles. They allow the strut assemblies to both rotate and pivot independent from the control arm. These joints are commonly ignored during routine maintenance, which ultimately leads to wear and eventually failure. Bad ball joints can cause a range of issues, from front end vibration or clunking to uneven tire wear and loose or vague steering feel. This replacement includes one ball joint, mounting bolts, washers, castle nut, cotter pin, and zerk fitting. Sold individually; 2 required per car.
