Have you ever had your car lurch forward while starting, only to see that you left your car in gear and didn't depress the clutch? If that's the case, it's probably time to replace the neutral switch in your car. This genuine, original equipment (OEM) switch prevents your car from starting while in gear. Depending on how it fails, it can either cause your car to not start at all or allow it to start while the clutch is not depressed. Fits 90A (84-86 turbo T-5) and 71C* (84-89 non-turbo) manual transmissions only. Sold individually.
*84-86 Non-Turbo Note:
Not all early non-turbo 300ZX models had this switch equipped from the factory. We have seen some early models with it equipped, but most did not have it. All non-turbo models produced in 8/86 and later should have had this switch from the factory.
