Description:
If your rear deck doesn't "pop" up when you unlock it, chances are one or both of the deck side strikers needs to be replaced. These genuine, original equipment (OEM) spring loaded pieces install on the body of the car in the rear deck area closest to the tail lights and serve two purposes: "popping" the tailgate up when the hatch is unlocked and helping cushion the tailgate as it is closed. Sold individually; two required per car. See Related Items for the tailgate dove tails, which are mounted on the tailgate and fit into these strikers when closed.
