Description:
The Thermal Vacuum Valve helps control ignition timing by applying or cutting off vacuum to the distributor depending on engine temperature. It also applies vacuum to the EGR Valve to turn it on or off. This genuine, original equipment (OEM) valve fits Federal models and installs below the air regulator in the manifold heater assembly.
Note:
There are several different setups that Nissan used for the Thermal Vacuum Valves. Some models use one valve while others use two (thermostat housing/manifold heater assembly); some have two vacuum ports and others have 3. We recommend inspecting your car to confirm which setup your car has.
