Description:
This genuine, original equipment (OEM) fitting threads into two locations on early Z-Cars with S.U. Carbs. One fits into the side of the 70-72 Thermostat Housing that faces the driver's (left) side of the car. The second fits into the forward end of the front intake manifold. The Manifold Heater Hose (in Related Items) fits on these pieces to connect the intake manifold to the thermostat housing. For 1975 280Z models, this fitting is located in the front of the thermostat housing and is part of the manifold bypass that connects the water inlet to the thermostat housing. Sold individually.

Note:
The rear manifold uses a different water fitting than the front manifold or the thermostat housing. This fitting should not be used in the rear S.U. Carburetor manifold, as the rear fitting is originally a thermostatic valve instead of a simple fitting.
