Description:
This V-Type belt drives both the water pump and alternator. V-Type belts fit in pulleys with a single, deep "groove" in them for the belt. Belts should be inspected for wear and damage with each tune up at a minimum and replaced at the first sign of either. Nissan was not consistent with which belt type was used, so physical inspection is strongly recommended to ensure you are ordering the right belt for your car. Application Note:
Fits 1984 through 8/1987 Non-Turbo (by production date). Nissan was inconsistent in these applications; please physically inspect your belt/car prior to ordering. See our Fitment Note below for additional details.

This is a non "grooved" belt (also called a "V Belt"). If your non-turbo model Fan/Water Pump and Alternator Pulleys have a single, deep "groove" for this belt, or if the belt you removed does not have multiple "grooves", then this is the belt for you regardless of production date. If your 300ZX Non-Turbo Fan belt has "grooves" on the pulley side, then you will need either 16-7809; see Related Items. If you are not sure, please give a sales technician a call at (714)639-2620.
