Back by popular demand, these one piece units bond right on to your 70-76 hood. No cutting of hood is necessary for restyling, or you can open the hood area and create your own intake system! Note: Scoops will interfere with 77-78 hood vents. They can be used, however modification to the hood vent cutouts on these hoods would be necessary.
Protective Coating:
The fiberglass items in this kit have a gel coating to protect the fiberglass itself from scratches. It is not a finish coat. Your paint professional will sand down the coating prior to final priming and painting. You will notice scratching in this surface, which is exactly what it was designed to do, to take any scratching that can occur in production, transport, storage, handling, and shipping, keeping the fiberglass from being damaged.
