This is the factory original replacement plastic cover that fits between the battery and the battery frame. A must have for any complete restoration! Fits original Nissan battery only*.
Note:
This cover is intended for use with older style lead-antimony plate batteries, which require regular maintenance by adding distilled water (which is what the opening on top is for). It may physically fit modern batteries; however, the top access hole may not line up on newer batteries that have access caps.
