Description:
These impressive shift knobs have a great looking Satin Black finish, and a classic "Z" logo precisely engraved into the top. They are crafted from 6061-T6 Aircraft grade (very rigid) Billet Aluminum, and then powdercoated in black for even more durability. In addition, powdercoating makes for a much higher quality engraving than other formats (like anodizing), so the classic Z logos come out extremely well. The 8mm threads will fit original 70-83 Z&ZX shifters. Two nuts are included (not visible under the knob) for proper centering of the Z logo. If that wasn't enough, this knob is purposefully made heavier than stock counterparts, which can help smooth shifter feel.
Application Note:
This shift knob will fit on any Z-Car manual transmission fitted with an 8mm shift lever. It will not fit on 10mm shift levers, including early Z's fitted with one of our Short Throw Shifter Kits. Please give us a call at (714)639-2620 or Email us if you have any questions.
