The original plastic hood release knob is no longer available from Nissan, so this replacement hood release knob has been a highly requested fix for many 260Z & 280Z owners tired of using vice grips to open their hood! These billet aluminum replacements are great upgrades in durability over the original knob, and have an engraved custom Z "hood open" picture logo. They are crafted from 6061-T6 Aircraft grade (very rigid) Billet Aluminum, and securely attach via two set screws. They are powdercoated in black for even more durability, which also makes for a much higher quality engraving than other formats (like anodizing).
