Description:
Bob Sharp was one of the pioneers for Nissan in racing. His Red/White/Blue Z's are some of the most well known. This spoiler is based on one of those that Bob Sharp designed for his GT33 280Z's, whether for a track car or the very limited production of GT33's created and sold in Bob Sharp's own Nissan dealership (#33 was Sharp's chosen racing number). A bit more aggressive than the BRE spoiler, this design helped to keep those early Z's down on the track. This Spoiler attaches to the intact factory original front Valance with your choice of fasteners (not included).

Shipping:
This product includes free standard service (ground) shipping to the lower 48 United States. For all other locations, you can contact us ahead of time for shipping fees to your area, or complete your order and we'll get back to you with a shipping quote.

Image Notes:
The two lower images above are early vintage images, and the paint job can be deceptive, as the lighter painted area does not go all the way to the edge of the spoiler. The images below are also vintage race images showing an early version of the GT33 spoiler that this one was based on. See the basic design on one of the race cars in the images below.

Application Notes:
This spoiler was only designed to fit U.S. Specification 260Z's and 280Z's from the production dates of September, 1974 through the last 280Z built in 1978. Your Z must have the 8/74-78 complete three piece factory Valance to install this spoiler as designed. If you're uncertain if your 8/74-78 may have been changed from the original Valance, or if you need an original Valance, please give us a call.

Protective Coating:
This fiberglass item has a gel coating to protect the fiberglass itself from scratches. It is not a finish coat. Your paint professional will sand down the coating prior to final priming and painting. You will notice scratching in this surface, which is exactly what it was designed to do, to take any scratching that can occur in production, transport, storage, handling, and shipping, keeping the fiberglass from being damaged. Please let us know if you have any questions.
