NGK has upgraded their original application for the included Spark Plugs with Resistor technology. Non-resistor plugs not only interfere with your radio, they can also interfere with electronic ignition signals, so this switch to Resistor type plugs can only benefit your Z's operation. Also, this upgrade did not increase the price of the kit!

Description:
Restore your Z's performance! Tune ups are an important part of the general maintenance of your Z. The metal parts of the spark plugs, cap, rotor, and points all wear down over time from heat caused by repeated use. This can lead to poor fuel economy, engine performance, and eventually cause misfires in extreme cases. The recommended interval for a tune up on early Z-Cars is 30,000 miles, although it is also a good idea to change out these parts if the car has sat for a long period of time or if you recently purchased the car. It's also a good idea to perform a tune up when you replace the spark plug wires or change the ignition coil. This kit comes with all of the regular wear components needed to restore the functionality of your ignition system to like new.
