Description:
The passenger side foot rest was an uncommon item to find on Z cars in North America. In Japan, they were factory equipment on the 432 and ZG models and a factory option for the other Fairlady S30's. In Europe, they were factory equipment on the ZG models but only available as an option in some countries for the rest of the S30's. In the North American market, they were only available as an accessory item although they were listed on the factory microfiche (as seen above). This excellent reproduction of the passenger foot rest is a great way to add a unique flair to the interior of any Z and can be installed on the passenger side of both left and right hand drive models with little modification. Includes two nuts and two flat washers (lock washer shown on microfiche not included).

Installation Note:
If your car was not originally equipped with a passenger side foot rest, or if you have replaced the carpet in your car at some point, you will need to modify your carpet in order to install this piece (the second image above shows a right hand drive carpet designed for use with this foot rest). Floor Mats will also need to be modified for this foot rest to fit. Two holes will need to be drilled into the passenger side floor pan if your car does not already have a passenger foot rest or if you have replaced your floor pans. On factory original pans, the passenger side will have 2 raised areas where the foot rest should be installed; however, replacement floor pans do not have these raised areas. Depending on your car, you may need to flip the inward pointing mounting tab around to match up to factory holes (simply remove the bolt, flip the bracket, and reinstall the bolt).
