Description:
Accurate fuel pressure is crucial when running any carburetor setup. Performance carbs are even more sensitive to pressure than stock carbs. The simplest and most accurate way to measure your fuel pressure is with a gauge mounted in the engine bay, somewhere between the fuel pump and the carbs. These gauges are fluid filled and come in a stainless steel housing for maximum resilience against vibration.

Installation Note:
Depending on your exact setup, you may or may not need an additional fitting to install this gauge. If you do need an additional fitting, see 50-5271 in Related Items below.

Venting Note:
If your gauge is showing an inaccurate pressure, or the needle does not hold steady while you check the reading, you probably need to vent the pressure using the small plug on the top of the housing. This can be done by simply pushing the plug to the side without removing it. Be sure not to remove the plug, as the fluid can spill out if you do.
