UPDATE: This drain plug has been updated with a more powerful magnet and also includes a special gasket!

Description:
Magnetic oil drain plugs help to capture and hold metal particles as they drain to the oil pan. This helps to keep them from being drawn into the oil pump and re-circulating, which can result in engine damage. In addition, when doing oil changes, you'll be able to detect the advance of deteriorating engine parts by noting any buildup of particles on the magnet. Special made o-ring included.

Gasket Note:
Although the included gasket is specially made for use with magnetic drain plugs, it still needs to be changed with each oil change. See 10-2610 in Related Items below for replacements.
