Description:
These electronic ignition distributors also have an adjustable vacuum advance mechanism as well as the mechanical adjustment. They are triggered by a self-contained, photo-optic infrared L.E.D. system using Mallory's time tested breakerless ignition circuit, combined with modern surface mount Thermal-Clad construction that has no moving parts to adjust or wear out. The UNILITE infrared L.E.D. system can drive both original equipment and high performance ignition coils. The UNILITE module plate prevents fluctuation and timing inaccuracy. UNILITE distributors are C.A.R.B. approved for all 70-78 Z's

Restrictions:
Mallory Unilite distributors will not work with the stock Nissan fuel injection system ECU. If you are running carburetors on your 75 & Later L-Series engine, this distributor can work. If you are running an aftermarket fuel injection system that does not utilize the factory ECU, please check with that product's manufacturer for compatibility with a Mallory Unilite.
