Description:
The intake & exhaust manifold bolts, nuts, and studs will stretch and weaken with use, and should be replaced when installing any header. This simple kit comes with all of the manifold bolts, studs, and nuts needed to mount your manifolds to the cylinder head.
*Application Notes:
We recommend this kit for all 75-83 280Z-280ZX's with N42, N47, P79, or P90 Cylinder Heads, running fuel injection. If you are using an N42, N47, P79, or P90 on your 70-74 240Z-260Z with fuel injection, you need this kit. It will not work with early cylinder heads (E31, E88). If you are installing a carburetor on an N42, N47, P79, or P90, you will need part 15-8080 (see Related Items).
Related Item:
All L-Series heads also have 6 "spacers" that hold down both the intake manifold and the exhaust manifold/header at the same time. Check to see if these are worn and in need of replacing also (see part 14-0373 in Related Items). For a complete kit including the spacers and the rest of the hardware, see 15-8083 in Related Items.
