Many first time owners of early Z-Cars are under the impression that the factory Z seats are simply uncomfortable, when in reality the seat foam has simply worn out and needs to be replaced. This original shape & style, dense, automotive grade foam insert kit is made by the same company who reproduced them for Nissan and is a need for almost every original early Z seat. From road trips to daily commutes, your drive will be vastly more comfortable (often to a surprising degree). Each kit includes one seat back (top) section and one seat bottom section, which covers one seat. Sold individually; 2 kits required per car*.
*Passenger Seat:
Although it is much less common now, we often found over the years that passenger side seats that were not used much can sometimes have foam that is still in good condition, even when the upholstery is worn or damaged. We offer these foam kits on a per seat basis for this reason, as both seats do not require replacement all the time. For full restorations, you may want to replace the foam in both seats regardless of condition. Daily drivers may want to inspect the passenger side first prior to ordering both (unless it's obviously damaged of course).
Fitment Note:
Z-Car seats are shaped slightly differently depending on the year. When used on some seats (mostly 74-78 models), these foam inserts will require small modifications.
