Description:
After seeing thousands of burned & melted fuse boxes, we have developed an upgraded unit. Made to plug into your original harness, this fuse box uses a printed circuit board, plug-in style fuses, original color wires/connectors, and it bolts into the stock location. The combination of upgrades used in this design allow the box to resist damage where the original fuse boxes failed. For ultimate protection, combine this box with our wiring upgrade harnesses; see Related Items. Replaces Catalog #12-4210.

Application Notes:
Unless they have been modified, all 1970 & most 1971 240Z's should have the "long pigtail" fuse box shown here. Although uncommon, we have seen a limited number of later models equipped with the long pigtail box as well (and vice versa). Please visually confirm that the box you are replacing has the long wiring "pigtails" prior to ordering. For some late 1971 & later 240Z's with the short "pigtail" wiring, see 50-5010 in Related Items. If you are not sure which style you need, please give us a call.

Important:
The short and long pigtail Fuse Boxes ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE! The boxes are designed differently and will not function if simply plugged in to a car that is wired for the opposite style harness (in other words, a long pigtail box will not function in a car that was equipped with a short pigtail wiring harness). You MUST check the configuration of your current fuse box before ordering. As with all electrical items, fuse boxes are not eligible for return.
