This attractive add-on lip for late Z31's was designed exclusively for Motorsport. It is lower profile and protrudes further forward than the SS style lip for a very different appearance. It is made of paintable Fiberglass.
Protective Coating:
This fiberglass item has a gel coating to protect the fiberglass itself from scratches. It is not a finish coat. Your paint professional will sand down the coating prior to final priming and painting. You will notice scratching in this surface, which is exactly what it was designed to do, to take any scratching that can occur in production, transport, storage, handling, and shipping, keeping the fiberglass from being damaged.
