Description:
The Oxygen Sensor, located in the exhaust manifold (or the rear elbow on the turbocharger), works by detecting how much oxygen is in your exhaust. It then sends a signal to the computer, which uses that input (along with several other signals from various components) to make adjustments to the fuel flow into your engine. A bad O2 sensor can cause several issues, ranging from reduced fuel economy to a failed catalytic converter. Faulty O2 sensors are one of the most common causes of failed emissions tests. This replacement sensor fits both turbo and non-turbo models. Includes pre-applied high temp anti-seize*. Sold individually, 1 required per car.

Image Note:
Although it is not very clear, the high temp anti-seize compound is already applied in the images above. The threads are completely new and undamaged underneath the compound.

*Notes:
Federal Emission Specification 280ZX's did not have an oxygen sensor until 7/80. California Emission Specification 280ZX's had an oxygen sensor from 8/79. Replaces catalog #11-3458, 81-83 280ZX Turbo.
