Fuel tank repair is more than just pouring in sealer and sloshing it around. All gum, varnish, sludge, rust, and contaminated fuel must be removed first. This kit includes everything you need to do the job right. Included is Cleaner/Degreaser to remove all contaminants from within the tank, Metal Prep to ensure proper sealer adhesion, and Fuel Tank Sealer to protect against all fuel additives, gasoline itself, and even higher alcohol content Stage II fuels.
Application Note:
This kit should not be used on fuel tanks that have plastic baffles (all 79+ models) or full plastic fuel tanks (newer Z models).
