Metal Prep removes surface rust, and insures paint adhesion by gently etching metal, while coating it with zinc phosphate to promote chemical bonding of the paint and steel. It provides a perfect base for all paints without being caustic, corrosive, toxic, or flammable, and also leaves no harmful residues. This one-quart (32 FL OZ) container is enough for most jobs.
