Description:
Strut braces are more than just a bolt in part that looks good. They are an often overlooked "missing link" in high performance suspension builds. As more rigid suspension components are installed, the chassis is placed under increased stress and can even flex under specific circumstances (larger sway bars in particular can increase flexing in the strut towers). When properly designed, strut bars can make a drastic improvement in your Z's handling by preventing the strut towers from moving independently. By preventing these unwanted suspension geometry changes, cornering (and overall) stability and steering precision are particularly increased. A properly paired set of strut and sway bars is often times the most significant handling upgrade you can make for your Z!

This Kameari brace features a sturdy extruded aluminum center shaft for high strength and rigidity while keeping overall weight down. Real carbon fiber is baked onto the oval cross-sectioned aluminum tube, and the bar is finished with steel end brackets in titanium color for a unique, custom look. Installation is quick and easy as there is no adjustment required to the bar. Once installed, the center shaft can be lifted out of the way by removing the mounting bolt to the bracket on either side (or both for removal). This allows for odd shaped or larger cargo to fit in the rear deck area without needing to remove the brackets.

Application Note:
This strut bar will not fit on 74-78 as the width between shock towers is different than on a 240Z. We recommend our adjustable strut bar, 23-4206; see Related Items.

Kameari Product Note:
This Kameari product was originally a Special Order item with a 6-8 week timeframe to arrive from Japan (it was incorrectly listed online as taking 3-4 weeks). We were recently able to work out a better deal with them that allowed us to lower our price on all of their products while speeding up the shipping time to us. All Kameari products are still sourced from the manufacturer in Japan.
