Sometimes, especially for those who live in very sunny areas, the rear deck carpet is all that needs replacing. These are the same rear deck portions that come in our kits. Features Cut-Pile type carpeting.
Loop vs. Cut-Pile Carpets:
Loop and cut-pile refer to the type of stitching used to make the carpet. With Loop carpet, you will feel the "looped" or curved edge of the fibers, while with cut-pile you will feel the cut end of the fibers.

During the first production months for the model year 1977, Nissan made the rear deck floor flat from the luggage riser back to within a few inches of the tail lights, but then had it slope upward at an approximate 45° angle to meet the deck lid opening. Late 1977 model deck floors remain flat all the way to the tail lights, with no sloped section, and sit on the "elevated" fiberboard rear deck.
