Description:
This weatherstrip mounts on the body, around the entire hatch opening. For a long period, Motorsport would not sell any reproduction weatherstrips for this critical area of inner hatch weatherstrip, as they were not made properly and immediately or soon failed, allowing exhaust fumes inside the vehicle once again. After working directly with our current manufacturer, we were finally able to create this excellent quality seal, which both seals and wears well.

Exhaust Fumes Note:
If you are still noticing exhaust fumes after installing this weatherstrip, and you have confirmed that the seal is properly seated, we recommend inspecting your Tail Light Gaskets and Deck Lid Rubber Plugs, as they are also a common cause of exhaust fumes in your car. See Related Items.
