Description:
This hard to find 90° female connector and boot fit on to the two spade connectors at the top of the rear deck that provide power and ground for the Rear Window Defroster (also called Rear Window Defogger). These connectors corrode over time, which can cause your defroster to work poorly, intermittently, or not at all. In addition, 70-74 Z's used a clear boot that discolors over time from sun exposure. Sold individually; 2 required per car.
Note:
These connectors replace the existing connectors on your car. Before connecting (soldering strongly recommended) the old wire to the new connector, it must be fed through the boot. Since soldering will be done while on the car, proper care must be taken prior to and during installation. Professional installation recommended.
